Jennifer and Colin are flying around the world in a Bell 407 helicopter, sponsored by Bell Helicopter.
About Bell Helicopter
Bell Helicopter Textron is a wholly owned subsidiary of Textron Incorporated and is industry-leading producer of commercial and military, manned and unmanned vertical lift aircraft. Bell Helicopter was the pioneer of the revolutionary tilt rotor aircraft.
The Bell 407
The Bell 407 is described as a sports car in the air, but Jennifer and Colin's helicopter isn't just about speed. The 407 is used around the world as a military aircraft and a working one, with many air rescues being carried out in Bell 407s.
Colin and Jennifer's trip means they need speed, good handling and exceptional rotor contral and - given the inaccessibility of some of the places they're visiting - ease of maintenance. The helicopter also needs to be able to handle extreme environments: high altitudes, arctic conditions or even the hottest locales. The Bell 407 gives them all this.
